Terms, disclaimers & client agreement
These terms explain what Marichu Between Worlds will provide, what is expected of each client, and the limits of spiritual and intuitive services.
Effective September 22, 2026
The shared agreement
Clear expectations protect both sides.
Marichu’s commitment: provide the purchased service in good faith, with care, respect, reasonable preparation, and the time described at booking.
Your commitment: provide accurate information, arrive prepared and on time, behave respectfully, follow the policies below, and remain responsible for your own decisions.
A booking is not confirmed until the client has reviewed and affirmatively accepted these terms. If you do not agree, do not book or participate.
1. Agreement and eligibility
These Terms of Service and Client Agreement (“Terms”) apply to all services, products, website use, and communications offered by Marichu Between Worlds (“MBW,” “we,” “us,” or “Marichu”). By checking the acceptance box during booking, paying an invoice that links to these Terms, or participating in a service after receiving these Terms, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to them.
You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter an agreement. MBW does not accept bookings for, provide services to, or permit participation by anyone under 18.
2. Nature and limits of services
Readings, mediumship, oracle work, soul guidance, Reiki, angelic healing, mentorship, animal readings, house cleansing, and spirit art are spiritual, intuitive, creative, educational, or complementary wellness services. They are offered for personal reflection and entertainment. Experiences and interpretations are subjective.
No guaranteed outcome
MBW does not guarantee that a particular person, animal, spirit, message, prediction, feeling, result, or piece of evidence will come through. Future-oriented information describes possibilities, not certainties. No result can be promised from energy work, house cleansing, mentorship, or any other service.
Services do not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any condition and are not a substitute for licensed medical, mental-health, veterinary, legal, financial, or other professional care. Never delay or stop professional treatment, medication, reporting, or emergency assistance because of a session. For an emergency, contact 911 or the appropriate licensed professional.
You retain free will and full responsibility for your choices. Do not use a reading as the sole basis for major health, safety, relationship, legal, employment, housing, or financial decisions.
3. Our responsibilities and your responsibilities
MBW will
- Provide the service and approximate duration described at booking, in good faith and within reasonable professional boundaries.
- Treat clients respectfully and keep personal information private, subject to applicable law, safety concerns, payment processing, and necessary service providers.
- Communicate material scheduling changes and offer a reschedule or refund if MBW must cancel and cannot provide the service.
- Explain when a request falls outside the service’s scope and may end a session that becomes unsafe, abusive, or inappropriate.
The client will
- Provide accurate contact, booking, location, and service information and disclose relevant access or safety concerns.
- Attend on time, sober, able to consent, and in a private, reasonably distraction-free setting.
- Use a functioning device and reliable connection for virtual services and promptly communicate technical problems.
- Participate respectfully. Harassment, threats, sexual misconduct, discrimination, intoxication, unsafe conduct, or repeated boundary violations may end the session without refund.
- Make independent decisions and seek qualified professional help when appropriate.
4. Booking, payment, cancellations, and refunds
- Payment: Unless a written quote says otherwise, payment is due in full when booking. A date or time is not reserved until required payment and acceptance of these Terms are received.
- Private parties: A $50 deposit reserves the date and is applied to the balance. The remaining balance is due before the event under the written booking confirmation.
- Rescheduling: Give at least 24 hours’ notice for individual sessions and seven calendar days for private parties or in-home services. One timely reschedule is permitted without a change fee.
- Late arrivals: A late session may be shortened to protect the next client’s time. Arrival more than 15 minutes late without communication may be treated as a no-show.
- Client cancellation or no-show: Payments are nonrefundable for notice outside the applicable window or a no-show, except where required by law. When timely notice is given, the payment may be transferred once to a new date.
- MBW cancellation: If MBW cancels, the client may choose a reasonable rescheduled date or a refund of the amount paid for the unprovided service.
- Completed services: Dissatisfaction with the content of a reading, lack of a desired message, or disagreement with an intuitive impression does not make a completed service refundable.
- Pricing: Current prices apply at booking. Custom quotes, travel charges, shipping, taxes, discounts, and package deadlines will be disclosed before purchase when applicable.
Before initiating a payment dispute or chargeback, contact MBW so both sides can make a good-faith effort to resolve a billing error or service issue.
Taxes and fees: Listed prices are before applicable taxes and any booking, payment-processing, travel, or shipping charges clearly disclosed before payment. Clients may review the complete total before purchasing.
5. Session conduct, technology, and boundaries
Clients may ask questions, decline to discuss a topic, or end a session at any time. MBW may decline questions involving death dates, medical diagnoses, criminal accusations, lottery or gambling outcomes, surveillance of another person, or content that could cause harm or invade another person’s privacy.
For virtual sessions, the client is responsible for their device, internet connection, and a safe location. If MBW’s technology prevents the service, MBW will reasonably resume, reschedule, or refund the unprovided portion. If the client’s technology or environment prevents the service, the missed time is not automatically refundable, though MBW may offer a reasonable reschedule.
Every adult participant in a private group or virtual gallery reading must individually accept these Terms and the service disclaimer before receiving access or attending. The private-group host is responsible for providing accurate guest information and ensuring that each guest completes the required acceptance. Zoom links are for registered participants only and may not be forwarded to unregistered people.
MBW does not promise that every participant in a group or gallery reading will receive an individual message. Participants must respect one another’s privacy and may not disrupt the event.
6. Service-specific terms
Energy work and healing services
Reiki and angelic healing are complementary practices intended to support relaxation and spiritual reflection. They are not healthcare, psychotherapy, massage, or crisis services. Results vary, and you should tell MBW before an in-person session about accessibility needs or any boundary concerning touch; no touch will be used without consent.
Animal readings
Animal readings do not replace veterinary care, training, behavior assessment, rescue services, or emergency treatment. The client is responsible for safely supervising and controlling any animal present.
House cleansing and in-home services
The client confirms they own the property or have permission to authorize the service and will provide a reasonably safe, lawful, accessible environment. The client must disclose hazards, weapons, aggressive animals, contagious illness, smoke sensitivity, building restrictions, or other material risks in advance. MBW may stop or decline service if conditions are unsafe. House cleansing does not guarantee changes to a property, occupants, relationships, health, legal status, market value, or reported activity.
Spirit art and shipped items
Spirit art is an original intuitive and creative interpretation, not a guaranteed likeness or factual depiction. Because it is custom work, payment becomes nonrefundable once creation begins. Unless otherwise agreed, MBW retains copyright and the client receives the physical original plus a personal, noncommercial display right. Shipping estimates are not guaranteed; carrier delays and losses will be handled under the carrier’s available claim process.
Mentorship
Mentorship is spiritual education and personal development. It does not provide licensure, certification, employment, income, professional supervision, or guaranteed skill development. Packages are personal, nontransferable, and expire as stated at purchase.
7. Privacy, confidentiality, and recordings
MBW will use reasonable care with client information but cannot promise absolute confidentiality or data security. Information may be disclosed when required by law, reasonably necessary to process payment or provide a requested service, or believed necessary to address an imminent safety concern. Website, payment, scheduling, email, video, and shipping providers may process information under their own policies. Please review the separate Privacy Policy for details about website and business information practices.
No party may record, livestream, screenshot, reproduce, publish, train an AI system on, or commercially use a session without the other party’s prior written permission. A client may take personal notes. Testimonials, images, or identifying details will be published only with permission.
8. Assumption of risk and limitation of liability
You understand that spiritual and intuitive services may involve emotional topics, grief, memories, or unexpected impressions. You voluntarily choose to participate and may pause or end the session. You remain responsible for seeking appropriate support and for all actions taken after a service.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, MBW is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages; loss of income, opportunity, data, or relationships; decisions made by a client; third-party conduct; or results that were not guaranteed. To the fullest extent permitted by law, MBW’s total liability arising from a claim will not exceed the amount the client paid MBW for the specific service giving rise to the claim.
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded, and nothing waives a consumer right that cannot legally be waived. These limitations do not excuse MBW from providing the purchased service as promised.
9. General terms
Intellectual property. Website text, branding, course or mentorship materials, exercises, graphics, and other MBW-created content may not be copied, sold, distributed, or used commercially without written permission, except for a client’s personal use of materials expressly provided to them.
Force majeure. Neither side is responsible for delay caused by events reasonably outside their control, including severe weather, illness, power or internet failure, government action, or transportation interruption. The parties will make a reasonable effort to reschedule or address any unprovided paid service.
Governing law. These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any permitted court proceeding will be brought in a court with proper jurisdiction in or serving Fredericksburg, Virginia, unless applicable consumer law requires otherwise.
Changes and severability. The version accepted at booking governs that purchase. If a provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply. A failure to enforce one provision is not a waiver of another.
Entire agreement. These Terms, the service description, and any written invoice or custom quote form the agreement. If a custom written agreement directly conflicts with these Terms, the custom agreement controls for that service.
Contact. A dedicated business email will be added before online booking opens. Until then, no appointment is confirmed through this website.
Required before service
Client acknowledgment
When booking opens, the checkout will require each client—and every adult group or gallery participant—to confirm:
- I am at least 18 years old and able to enter this agreement.
- I have read and agree to the Terms, disclaimers, payment, cancellation, and conduct policies.
- I understand that results and specific spirit connections are not guaranteed.
- I understand these services do not replace licensed professional care and I remain responsible for my decisions.
This preview checkbox is disabled because online booking and payment are not yet active. Acceptance will be recorded individually before any appointment, private group, or gallery admission is confirmed.
